Semuliki National Park

Semuliki is the easternmost extension of Congo’s great Ituri Forest and is the only true lowland tropical rainforest in East Africa. The tiny 220km2 park packs a lot into a small package.

It is an amazing forest for birding tours in Uganda with 441 species! Its most unique feature is the Sempaya hot springs which are so hot – they can hard boil an egg in 10 minutes

In 2018, CNN Travel Magazine reorganized the scenic beauty of Kidepo and placed it among the 8 best African safari destinations.

The park also has nearly 500 bird species! Its 77 species of Uganda mammals include 4 of the Big 5 and Cheetahs. A cultural tour of the Karamajong people makes Kidepo a must-visit Uganda tourism destination
